A letter from the Founder and President of SAYS
It is an immense pleasure for us to organize the first Model South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Summit from 25th to 27th July 2015. South Asian Youth Society (SAYS) takes the pride to organize this inimitable Model SAARC Summit which will be a 3-day long unique experience for the future policy makers of this region to create a culture of integrated connectivity and people to people oriented diplomacy to build a peaceful and prosperous South Asia.
South Asian Youth Society (SAYS) promotes a united platform of South Asian youth through exploring new ideas, networking among south Asian youth and upholds their unbounded potentials. The SAARC policies aim to promote welfare economics, collective self-reliance among the countries of South Asia, and accelerate the socio-cultural development in the region. I believe, SAYS is the platform that connects to the policies of SAARC at the youth level of the South Asian region and the Model SAARC Summit will be one of its kind reflecting such crucial matters of discussions based on the South Asian regional issues. With extensive research and scrutiny, the sessions are built in a way so as to evolve high pitched innovative ideas and feasible solutions to overcome the pressing challenges and crisis scenarios in South Asia.
By organizing this Model SAARC Summit, SAYS believes to assists young minds to realize their dormant intellect to lead the future. The amalgamation of a pool of talented delegates, esteemed policy-makers, distinguished Embassy and High Commission representatives, Top government officials, noted academicians, venerated NGO leaders, and prominent journalists all in one platform will create a distinctive voyage of experience sharing and learning for everyone.
I would also like to convey my warmest gratitude to American Center and the US Embassy in Dhaka for their extensive support for organizing this brilliant summit. We promise to serve you with utmost hospitality and a unique experience and cordially expect your warm presence in the Model SAARC summit this July.

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the first session of Model South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Summit which is to be held from 25th to 27th July 2015.
In this summit, we will endeavor to offer you something different, something to set us apart. Rest assured, our academic standards will be of the highest quality, but we also want to provide you with an excellent delegate experience.
Councils will be intense, exciting, and fast-paced, promoting constructive exchange of ideas and solutions for some of the region’s big, unanswered questions. The three-day summit will put to test your ability to research, persuade, and lead, testing the fledgling diplomat in you. You’ll be working with participants from all over the region in a highly competitive environment.
The crises that you come across in council, prepared by our dedicated team, will put you to the test. With a conscientious International Press, every move of yours as a delegate will be scrutinized and put to question. In dissecting world affairs and creating policies in a summit of the highest quality, we hope to transform you from students and youths into future leaders, all while creating unforgettable memories.
Preparations are already underway, courtesy a dedicated, experienced, and highly motivated team from my parent organization the South Asian Youth Society. We promise to make your stay as hospitable as ever. Finally I would like to thank the American Center and the US Embassy in Dhaka for their full support in organizing this ostentatious summit.
